We had a great Cinco de Mayo dinner! We went to a local restaurant that serves great food; I ordered some type of quesadilla that contained chicken and pineapple. Talk about YUM!!! I also ordered a strawberry margarita. I was surprised when it came to the table in a solo cup....like the kind we use at the river house on holidays....when there are 50 people coming in and out of the house all day....and no one wants to wash that many dishes...
Those who know me in real life know that I am not much of a drinker. I just don't like it much. There are definitely certain drinks that I do like though. A good glass of Riesling is wonderful in the summer. I like anything strawberry and frozen. Beer? No thank you. Once every few years, I'll get a hankering for a Corona with a lime in it, and even then, it has to be unbearably hot outside before I'll drink it. It has to do with a mission trip to Mexico I went on as a teenager.
Anyway, I thought it was cute that the restaurant resorted to disposable cups for margaritas on their big day.
