Long time readers know that I am not a beer drinker. So, why on earth would I be photographed finishing off a beer?.....
It was no ordinary beer either. It was a high gravity beer. That's right. It was a 9% beer. The community I live in was dry up until 2004. Dry? It was illegal to sell alcohol in my city. That's right. We didn't have any decent restaurants because they couldn't sell the hooch. About a year ago, Alabamians embarked on a "Free the Hops" campaign so that beers with higher alcohol content could be sold here.

Why was I drinking this beer?...
I had heard Jay talk about this crazy beer bar that he and his coworkers occasionally visit after work. They have over 300 beers on the menu!!!! I insisted that he take me to see this place! I met the hubs and some of his coworkers at this bar on a Friday night. Since I am not a beer drinker, I didn't even know what to order! I looked at the menu and told the waiter I'd have number 221. Seriously, I ordered it just like that!! Overall, it was OK. For beer. I don't really like beer, but by golly, I paid for this one so it was going down!! Ha!
