I know these things are supposed to be good for children...
but, no matter what kind of hat you put with it or bow you tie on it, I think the swim shirts and shorts for kids are just plain ugly.
I know I am supposed to be all concerned about skin cancer and whatnot, but come on. Do I really have to send my children to the pool fully clothed? I suppose if we were taking an equator tour for a vacation, I would probably buy this stuff. For the most part though, I tend to rub the children down with sunscreen; we are lucky and haven't had any bad sunburns. The lowest we use is 30 SPF. In fact, the pediatrician recommended sun exposure to help with Ella's allergies and eczema. Honestly, it does help her a lot. She goes through Eucerin and Aquaphor like crazy in the winter.
