There are many, many books that are far cheaper to buy than to buy the e-reader version. There was a book I really wanted. I could have gotten Jay to put it on one of his Kindles for me...for $12.99. Then I realized I could buy the actual softcover book for $7.99. That's kind of a big savings amount especially when you think about how many books I buy/read a year. It adds up.
I can spend more and not have to physically store the book in my house, or I can spend less and have an actual copy of the book.
I, personally, am not one to pirate other people's copyrighted work, but there are a lot of people who will search the web until they can download a free version of whatever it is they wanted. So my question is, how are most of you dealing with the e-reader and the costs of books?
