The local elementary school has a kite day every Spring. During P.E. the children get to fly kites instead of running or jumping. Parents are encouraged to attend, and I was lucky enough to be able to go.
Ella was flying this marvelous mermaid kite. It was huge!
It was nice and windy and warm. She had so much fun with it!
It was also hat day for Read Across America Week, so Ella was sporting an Alabama hat.
It was so windy that I though her giant kite might pull her off the ground! She is a willowish little thing. :)
It was so much fun!
