Days and days of medicine to go though. He can't have regular liquid antibiotics because of his situation with corn. Dang corn syrup is in everything! So, he has some custom chewable antibiotics. He has to take them for two weeks though, so even after he feels better, the drugs continue. I think that is the most frustrating thing about his condition. There isn't any Tylenol or Motrin that he can take to bring down his fever. We have the option to give him suppositories, but come on man, that's just adding insult to injury. I try to use other methods of keeping his fever down when he does get sick. Lots of liquids. Tepid bath. That sort of thing. Sorry to keep bringing up his strep throat. It was just a major ordeal, that's all. If I had to suffer through it; all of you have to suffer through me rehashing it. Ha!!
