I was pleasantly surprised at the number of folks who came wearing togas. Anyone wearing a toga got a dollar off the price of admission. I did not wear a toga; there was no way I could have set up all that I did and rock a bed sheet. I chose to wear a t-shirt and jeans.
I did get quite a few pictures of people in their togas. So much fun!
These four cuties were part of a group of students who volunteered to help. They worked the drink station.
Christy (left) was the chairperson for the event, and Trisha (right) is the executive director of Spirit of Athens.
This little darling was the leader of the opening ceremonies. Seriously, how adorable is this?
A few dogs even came in their togas.
This was my favorite group of patrons. Let me tell ya. They had fun and were dressed for it too!
